The Stress Calculator measures and assesses a user’s current stress level. It serves as an initial step in understanding stress-related health factors.

Users will answer stress-related questions that they have experienced for the past month:

  • Being upset due to an unexpected event
  • Unable to control important things in life
  • Nervousness and feeling stressed
  • Confidence in the ability to handle personal problems
  • Were things going your way?
  • Ability to cope with all the things that need to be done
  • Control irritations in life
  • Feeling of being in control of things
  • Experiencing anger because things are out of control
  • Not overcoming difficulties because they are piling up

Default Email Responses

The following are the default email responses depending on the calculated score. The email content can be customized when setting up the stress calculator to match your messaging better.

Score: 0-13 points, low stress level

Your score indicates that you're likely experiencing low levels of perceived stress. You seem to manage stress well and may already have effective stress-reduction strategies in place.

Score: 14-26 points, moderate stress level

Your score suggests that you're experiencing a moderate level of perceived stress. While you may find it manageable, there are times it could feel overwhelming. Consider exploring additional coping mechanisms or strategies to help manage stress more effectively.

Score: 27-40 points, high stress level

Your score indicates a high level of perceived stress. You may be experiencing significant stress, which could impact your well-being. It might be beneficial to explore ways to reduce stress and seek support if needed.
